Dear Sir,
With reference to your letter P. S. & F./IMPORT
dated 3rd September 1937, we are prepared to haul and lift
the cars from Holt's harf to the storage space to be
allotted to you on the Railway Reclamation at Hung Hom,
subject to the following conditions :-
(a). The Railway, whilst exercising every care in the
handling and lifting of these cars, will not accept liability for any damage caused eitner directly or indirectly thereby.
(b). All hauling and lifting will be charged for at our
standard rates.
(c). The Railway will not be responsible for any loss or
damage to the cars whilst being stored on railway land.
(d). The rental for open storage shall be three cents per
square foot per month or part thereof.
(e). Our standard Indemnity Form, which is enclosed, to be
signed by you.
(f). The storage to be subject to determination by 30 days '
notice on either side.
